Backend Engineer
Position Overview:
As a Backend Engineer, you will contribute to the development of the Liquid Collective protocol, the enterprise-grade liquid staking standard, in particular its APIs and operations tooling.
You’ll have a prominent voice in all technical decisions and defining best practices. You will work on A+ technical problems coming up with solutions, and then prototype, iterate, and launch.
You will typically spend 60% of your time coding, 20% reviewing peers' code, and 20% contributing to product design and estimation. You’ll work within a multi-disciplinary product team expert at EVM development and proof of stake protocols.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, test & release Liquid Collective protocol and products, including APIs, Oracles, Blockchain Indexers, etc.
- Define best practices: You will help define a set of best practices, including architecting APIs, writing code, testing, documentation, releasing, monitoring/alerting, and security.
- Shape our culture: As an early joiner, you will significantly impact setting our product engineering culture around our core values.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in software development
- Experience in the development of blockchain products
- Mastery of Golang
- Strong knowledge of Distributed Systems
- Experience with cloud-native stack (AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, helm, flux, etc.)
- Experience working in an agile, remote-first environment
