Rust Engineer [Contract]

Position Overview:

We're on the hunt for a skilled Rust Developer to contribute to the development of the Liquid Collective Protocol. As our lead Rust Developer, you'll be responsible for designing and building, efficient, reusable, and reliable Rust code. This is a contract opportunity, we are looking for an individual to join at 40 hours/week for 4-8 weeks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture using Rust
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that respects our high standards
• Identify bottlenecks, bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Collaborate with the wider engineering and product teams to integrate systems and provide guidance on Solana best practices
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
• Perform validation and verification testing

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Rust Developer with production experience deploying smart contract programs to Solana
• Advanced understanding of system programming and distributed systems
• Knowledge of backend development (Go)
• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
• Superb problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
